Add personal nights to group trips & save time with automatic room assignments
Learn more about our latest features that save organizers time, give guests more flexibility, and make group trips easier for everyone
Easily add personal nights to your next work trip

Whether you’re an organizer booking a group trip or an employee traveling for work, extending your trip is a hassle. Employees have to make sure their personal and work reservations get connected so they don’t have to move rooms, and organizers are endlessly fielding questions like “Can you extend my room over the weekend?” and “Can I come early but still use the group rate?”
But with our new personal nights feature on Workgrounds, arriving early or staying late is now easier on everyone! Employees can add, modify, and pay for personal nights, all within the group booking.
Guests who add on personal nights will benefit from the room block group rate and keep the same room for their entire stay – without having to ask the organizer for help. And organizers will have the opportunity to review and approve the additional nights, but the guest’s personal payment details will never be shared.

Let guests claim their own rooms when they RSVP

Normally guests have to be manually assigned to every room when booking a group trip – but not anymore. Guests can now assign themselves to a room when they RSVP, saving organizers time and helping the process run more smoothly for everyone.
And if you need to make sure certain guests get an upgrade, all you have to do is adjust the guest’s room eligibility to automatically assign standard, premium, or suite rooms.
You can also now let guests control their own personal information. All you need to enter is their email address, then they can supply their own details and select a room.
Note: If you already have an active trip in Workgrounds, you'll need to go to Settings in your trip page to turn these new features on. Don’t have an account yet but ready to give it a try? Connect with our founder to learn more and get started.
